For many of us, it is currently not or only limited possible to pursue our hobby model flying. If you have to stay at home, using a simulator is the best alternative. For this reason, the latest HELI-X version 9 (as beta version with only some models and airfields) is now available for free (but limited in time).

While the development of version 8 (available since the beginning of 2019) concentrated on the implementation of aircrafts, version 9 now uses the experiences of aircraft aerodynamics for even more realistic physical models of helicopter rotors. Together with the Helischool Gonzalez, especially the behaviour of all types of autorotations have been improved. They can now be practiced on the simulator in an absolutely realistic and therefore meaningful way. In addition, many other new features can be found in version 9.

Version 9 of HELI-X is in the final test phase and the public beta version will now be delivered with about a dozen current helicopter and aircraft models. Especially some beginner airplanes are included, so that our youth at home can be inspired for model flying. For registered users of HELI-X, the update to the full version is free of charge.

By the way, the Helischool Gonzalez uses version 9 of HELI-X for online trainings (see interview in Rotor 4/2020). If you are interested, just ask without obligation!
