Mit der Grafikkarte von ATI funktioniert HELI-X nicht unter Windows. Der Bildschirm bleibt schwarz.
Es gibt einen bekannten Bug in manchen Grafikkartentreibern von Windows bei moderneren ATI-Karten. Ein Workaround ist die Verwendung einer speziellen Option. Editieren Sie das Batchfile von HELI-X und fügen Sie zum Java-Aufruf folgende Option ein: -Djogl.GLContext.nofree
Alternativ kann man auch Omega-Treiber versuchen: http://www.omegadrivers.net/.

(kann wegen Zeilenumbruch im Forum jetzt trotzdem so aussehen als ob es eine Zeile tiefer wäre (ist es aber nicht )

Die Java Version kannst Du auf der Komandozeile überprüfen:

Klicke auf Start -> Ausführen, dort dann "cmd" eingeben (ohne Anführungszeichen) dann ENTER drücken und Du erhälst eine DOS-Box, hier gibst Du dann "java -version" gefolgt von ENTER ein (wieder ohne Anführungszeichen) dann solltest Du folgende Ausgabe erhalten:

Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 11.3-b02, mixed mode, sharing)

Der Befehl "Java" ist entweder falsch geschrieben oder konnte nicht gefunden werden
