Change V7 --> V8: Controller does not work

Hi there,

I'm using V7 and a ADCI controller (old easyfly3 USB controller, like a joystick) without problems.
After installing V8, this controller is not detected anymore. I tried the same calibration steps
as in V7, but V8 does not detect any axis movement. Win7 control panel lists the controller as working.

Why is this?

Hello,

you might try different input systems (global options).

Same issue here. Used to work but recently updated to V8 and now it says "no joystick found". Doesn't see any controllers at all. Have an xbox controller and a Nacon that i've tried removing from the PC and the PPM adapter that always worked in the past is not recognized either. I calibrated the PPM adapter via the Win10 control panel and it's recognized and reacts to inputs. Tried all of the global input options, restarted windows ect. Installed to the default path and there are no errors in the DOS box.

Please try the 32 bit version of HELI-X 8.

Hi

the picture shows that the controller IS detected.

1. So did you go further in the calibration steps? The bars move AFTER the calibration.
2. If not, choose the factoryx settings and try again.
3. If it does not work, post the contents of the terminal window after the start of HELI-X.

That's it! Thank you, all working now.
