Incorrect start position 9.0.2229 Linux

Post by Grant_Edwards »

When 9.0.2229 first starts (Linux again), the start position for airplanes is sometimes wrong. Resetting the model doesn't help. Reloading or changing models doesn't help. Reloading the airport fixes it. See image below. I haven't been able to isolate any cause — it just seems to happen randomly on startup about half the time.

I've done some deliberate experiments, and it's not just random on startup. If I simply start heli-x, then exit without doing anything, the start position never changes. You apparently have to "do something" to break it, but I haven't been able to figure out what that something is.
