Hi,
I am totally new to heli-x.
Did not fly for years, so before destroying my heli I'd like to practice a bit.
The heli I have is a Robbe Spirit Fun, sitting in the shelf brand new since years.
Which Model should I choose in heli-x to be close to it in terms of behaviours?
txs for any help
Karl
Newbies question, which heli to choose in heli-x
Re: Newbies question, which heli to choose in heli-x
Hi Karl
I don't know how your heli flies, but comparing size and with paddles I'd try the TRex 250 in HELI-X. Maybe you can tweak it further with flight modes to match your heli.
If the TRex 250 is much more stable than your Spirit, you could try the smaller Blade 130. Otherwise if your Spirit in real is way more stable than the TRex 250 in Heli-X, go one size bigger and try the TRex 450.
Depending on your training level, you could also try a calmer, better visible 600/700 size heli in the sim first to build up finger memory, then move on to a smaller bird where quicker reactions can be trained...

Thanks for your advise.
I guess I will follow them and also go from bigger to smaller
