Zero location 3D-depth perception
Normally when flying and I look down I can see my hands and feet, but in this and other sims there is no perception of your own body, unless the heli slaps you in your invisible face, and you get a restart. I would think adding your "own" legs, watching them getting hit by the blades would...

Re: JR Forza 450, 450EX and 700?
Nice! Parts quality and pricing is excellent, not as low as the many Trex450 clones, but very reasonable. I think this will be a good seller. The 450 also has a factory tail cover available, as well as many different colored parts. There is a 3 blade rotor heads from JR for this one too . http://www...

JR Forza 450, 450EX and 700?
These well designed helis deserve a place. If you need any parameters, photos, or whatever, please ask.

3D Glasses??
Depth perception is an issue. The red spot on the ground is a work-around, as is the red line to the ground in neXt. I have not seen or used any of the 3D glasses on a monitor. Some are red/green (anaglyph), some are (active) timed shutters, others (circular) polarized light. Perhaps they are awful ...

Try playing with the settings that would make the load lighter in ~/HELI-X5/files/Application/ViewSettings.xml file: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <project> <AntialiasingNumber> 8 </AntialiasingNumber> <VSync> false </VSync> <MaxFPSAsInteger> 300 </MaxFPSAsInteger> <IsSk...

Re: fright mode switch
Funny enough, "FRIGHT MODE SW" is actally what is written in the JR Propo XG-6 manual, page 13. I could not resist either. (Much more of that fun stuff over at http://www.engrish.com.) I found out that if I assigned the left transmitter switch to Idle Up 1 (start the engine) and the right ...

Re: CPU bei 100% - nicht spielbar
Yes, Heli-x is resource intense, and maxes out the CPU and GPU thermal loading, with insane FPS when left untouched . However, when turning on OpenGL, x8 and say 300fps the load is minimal of the CPU, and medium on the GPU. The program works great for me with: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build ...

fright mode switch
...nice program btw.
The switch setup for the transmitter could alternatively be used to toggle between 2 states.
Like this: left switch = motor off, right switch = mode 1 or 2.
