lol well, i knew that the usb ports of the mac were protected from current over run, etc. So with it plugged in I just tried connecting different combinations of components. The only thing i could fry was my interface, and its only low current. I know I probably shouldn't have done it but hey, at le...

Hi Guys, I remember reading something about macs not powering the ports properly on low signal USB's! So i thought i would try and fool the mac into powering it up. I removed the cover from the interface, and patched it so that it powered up. IT WORKED. The mac instantly began powering it by itself ...

No it still doesn't work. Its weird. The .xml file exists even though it wont let me finish the calibration (the 'finish' button cannot be pressed, so you have to press 'cancel' to exit calibration window) ??? and it still doesn't work??! How bizzare? Would it help to see the contents of the XML fil...

Yeah that exists, and it has an .xml file called "RC-Joystick.xml" within it!

Hi Michael, I just ran the calibration for you! Again no sign of the sticks making any input but carried on. However, when i got to the end of the calibration. I only tried it through the hub just in hope really. I have tried it directly in the mac usb ports too and it doesnt work like that either. Is there a chance that some software could be conflicting with it?? stopping it from working correctly??

Well it seems to work ok on a PC as is! Would I need to change dip switch settings for mac?
